Just one Jabiru. I'm looking down here out of convenience for my schedule
this weekend. The last sighting on Thursday morning had it riding thermals
heading towards Calhoun Co... with prevailing winds from the N/NE, it's
safe to assume it will head this way at some point. You're right there's a
ton of other habitat to look through further up coast... we made a pass
through Victoria and Port Lavaca yesterday with similar results as the
Nueces and Kleberg Co trips- no Jabiru.

Corridor in N.W. Corpus Christi -- but a Harris' Hawk was perched in a tree
there, keeping an eye on the multitudes of Red-winged Blackbirds settling

As others have mentioned here or on Texbirds Fb, there is a whole lot of
land without even so much a shoulder of a road for access. It's going to
