Greetings All:
I spent about five hours in Hockley County this morning and have to say -
things were slow.
Highlights were 4 Snow Geese, 44 Canvasbacks, and 10 Least Sandpipers at
Smyer Playa; 2 Snow Geese near Whitharral; 1 Say's Phoebe and 2 House Wrens
in Pep; 1 Hermit Thrush near Petit; 1 Greater White-fronted Goose and 1
Merlin at Brashears Park in Levelland; 14 Scaled Quails at the Smyer
Cemetery.
One sole highlight for Lubbock: 1 House Wren in my backyard brush pile.
Tomorrow is Lubbock Area hotspots - I hope I find something nifty.
