[texbirds] Gulls at Lake Ridge Golf Course in Lubbock

Greetings All:
I was at the golf course, with Phillip Kite, from 4:00 to 5:30 this
afternoon/prevening. Gull numbers were very much down (perhaps because there
were no restaurant scraps to be had today) with 21 Ring-billed Gulls and 2
first winter Herring Gulls seen. Perhaps numbers will pick up tomorrow.
Other highlights at the site: 1 Greater White-fronted Goose and 1 Ross's Goose
amidst the hordes of Cackling/Canada Geese, 1 Canvasback, 13 Common Mergansers,
and 1 Red-breasted Merganser.
Am still waiting to review Phillip's photographs of the gull from this morning.
