As my quiz grackle photo (with âwhiteâ eye) brought a lot of visitors (will get back to it in day or two) so perhaps there is a chance that a few who know grackles well will speak out now about them. Here is another photo I would like to hear what is your opinion about the ID of this grackle. I already posted in the past that I am sometimes suspicious about possible hybrids in some gulf populations. If there is an interest and a few people like to start discussion on this subject I will follow up with video (with sound) as well. I do not post many videos because it takes me way too much more time to prepare for upload and, usually, interest is on average about 5-10 lower (number of viewers) from number of people checking the photos. So why bother; I only process a few taken videos (for my own use I do not need to process anything) and even if uploaded I often keep them off public access. So here we are to start with - how would you ID this grackle: _http://www.pbase.com/image/148820388_ (http://www.pbase.com/image/148820388) I think public discussion could benefit many people but I am willing to continue it offline as well if some people want to keep their grackle thoughts private.
