[texbirds] Great White Heron at Anahuac NWR, Skillern Tract

Today at about 9:00 a.m., I photographed an apparent GreatWhite Heron 
(subspecies of Great Blue Heron) at the Skillern Tract at AnahuacNWR.  A few of 
the photos can be viewed onthe eBird Checklist at

The bird was seen from the South Observation Platform â€“follow the paved path 
from the south parking area of the Skillern Tract acrossthe bayou and south to 
the platform.  Thebird was about 75 yards due west of â€“ straight out from â€“ 
the platform.
