[texbirds] Galveston yesterday

Hi all,

LaFitte's Cove had some good birds yesterday.... Myrtle, 
Orange-crowned and Black-throated Green Warblers, Blue-headed Vireo, 
Hermit Thrush, probable Black-chinned hummer, RC Kinglets, BG gnatcatchers.
I didn't see any sparrows there nor along Settegast Road.

There were several flocks of Sandhill Cranes on Settegast and 8-mile Roads.

There were lots of raptors on the Island - harriers, White-tailed 
Kites, Am Kestrels, Red-tailed Hawks, ospreys
