Hi Texbirders,
I guess I am a bear for punishment as hoping against hope to find some
migrants today.
In LaFitte's Cove, there were a few thrushes and a catbird or 2. Some
reported a couple of vireos. As far as I know, no one saw any warblers by
1pm when I gave up.
Settegast Road had a cooperative forster's Tern on a post at the cukvert.
It is nice to get eye level shots of the birds.

As I was photographing him, a Clapper rail walked into the open behind the
tern.

At the ponds in LaFitte's Cove today there were both sexes of Wilson's
Phalaropes and it was fun to watch them spinning around both while swimming
and ismall puddles. If I was to do that I would get so dizzy I would fall
over. LOL. Here is the female.

And the male

The Glossy Ibis was seen several times right alongside the boardwalk again.

Good birding everyone.
