Another great day of birding on the refuge. We visited Bahia Grande this
morning and were not disappointed although we dipped on the Aplomado Falcon
again. Cassin's Sparrow are vocalizing and skylarking. A White-tailed Hawk
seems to have occupied on of the falcon nesting platforms.
Prickly pear is showing lots of new growth and buds are about ready to
burst open. Every imaginable shade of green is out there.
The tour season is winding down. Call for information and reservations.
