Hunting season ended yesterday so we had our first of season Birding Van
Tour on the Laguna Atascosa Unit today. There is so much water on the
refuge and the birds are loving it. Water fowl numbers can't begin to
reflect the total numbers of ducks and coots on the lake. We only counted
the ones closest to shore to be ID'd.
We will be alternating tours now between Laguna Atascosa and Bahia Grande.
Join us for a birding tour Thursday-Monday mornings, with an added tour on
