Hello Texbirders,
The highlight of today's bird walk was watching a MERLIN haze a
WHITE-TAILED KITE. The kite didn't seem to care much and both raptors put
on repeated great shows the whole time we were at Pintail Lakes. Another
highlight of the day might seem strange to northerners but was actually
special for here. An AMERICAN ROBIN was calling over the feeding station at
the Visitor Center this morning and our whole group got a look at it before
it flew off to parts elsewhere.
