Hi Texbirders,
Today's walk started with a COMMON PAURAQUE and ended with a TROPICAL
PARULA! Yippee... life is good at Santa Ana! The birds in between weren't
anything to sneeze at either ... great looks at a circling pair of adult
GRAY HAWKS. A just-over-head close-up of a RED-SHOULDERED HAWK. One lone
AMERICAN AVOCET tucked into the flock of BLACK-NECKED STILTS. And really
nice folks who appreciated taking time to really look closely at birds.
Guided bird walks leave from the front of the Santa Ana Visitor Center
every day at 8:30 am. Please join us.
