Heron and Egret numbers were unbelievably amazing. I'm sure that I under
counted most species.
Immense rafts of Pied-billed Grebe mind boggling.
Tours seven days a week alternating between Laguna Atascosa
and Bahia Grande; call for reservations. 956-244-2019
Also habitat tours around the lake at 1 PM and and 9 AM on Saturday
morning. reservations also required for this tour.
A bus tour of Bahia Grande is available on Monday morning at 8:30 AM
