Just a note to let you know that the 2015 Corpus Christi Hawkwatch (at Hazel
Bazemore County Park in Nueces County) will be opening on August 1st and
running through November 15th. Remember that the early season is Kite time so
don't miss your chance to see Swallow-tailed and Mississippi Kites. HawkWatch
International counters will be Dane Ferrell beginning solo on August 1st;
joined around August 15th by veteran Kevin Georg and,rookie to Corpus Christi,
Erik Bruhnke.
Mark your calendars now for the Celebration of Flight on September 25th through
September 27th. We will have live raptor programs and will host Jerry Ligouri,
famed hawk identification expert, educator and author. Please come out and
experience some awesome raptors and incredible raptor flights. Come see us!
