What a difference a day makes. Temp 48 degrees when we started and north wind was howling, whipping up waves on the Bahia and foam all along the shore. Cassin's Sparrow were mostly silent probably wondering what the heck. Only the Butter Butts were in huge numbers. Probably under counted them. We did nab a Northern Parula un in the thorn scrub on the loma. Neotropic Cormorant in one of the channels close enough to see the white outline on the bills. Swallow numbers also on the increase. Tours are winding down.
