Subject: Bald Eagle Pearland
I spotted an adult Bald Eagle in Pearland behind the water treatment plant at
Magnolia and Harkey Road around 3:30 pm yesterday. This is earliest I have
seen and Eagle here. It was in a sycamore tree south of the western most
pond. This tree has been used as perch before by eagles in the area. I
went back today around 6 pm tonight and did not see it today. I did see one
White Pelican and a Rosette Spoonbill in the east pond, plus over a hundred
cormorants and ten great egrets, one Great Blue Heron, four Snowy Egrets and
five White Ibis. No ducks
