The adult male Rufous and female Allen's continue to be seen daily from the nature center porch. Ask the staff to show you how to recognize the Allen's. There are also 2-4 other Selasphorus present. This morning there were also 8 Nutmeg Manikins at the parking lot. Kleb Woods holds free bird walks every Wednesday from 8:30 - 11 am. There will not be a bird walk on Jan 1 but all other Wednesdays. Beginner and skilled birders alike are welcome. On occasional Wednesdays, there will also be afternoon birding classes. Classes will begin January 22, 2014. Classes are held at the Kleb Woods Nature Center, 20303 Draper Rd. Tomball, TX, from 1:30-3:00 PM and may include an off-site field trip.
