Hello Texbirders, The female Becard continues at Estero In the tropical zone. The latest sighting was this morning around 10am sported by Huck and then he pointed it out to me and other in our birding group. She was photographed but upon review I see the camera was focusing on the branch in front of her and the pictures are blurry enough they could be Becard or could be bigfoot but you can see the red-clay color of the back and the dark cap on the head. Also we are continuing to see a Greater Scaup in Grebe Marsh, a Bufflehead on Dowitcher Pond, Mallards in different ponds in the park, and a male Wood Duck was spotted off the deck this past week.
