Greetings All:
I led the trip to Edwards County on Sunday.  Present at the beginning (FM
335 north of Barksdale, Barksdale-Rocksprings Rest Area, and Rocksprings -
city park, cemetery, and stock pond) were Ashley Cheshire, Carol Cheshire,
Shelia Hargis, Ray Hodson, Roz Hodson, Ron Huebner, Ethel Kutac (how
awesome is that!), Mark Lyon, Romey Swanson, Jane Tillman, and Catherine
Winans).  Romey peeled off to visit Dobb's Run and contributed Canyon Wren
and Olive Sparrow and after everybody else peeled off I discovered a
Swainson's Hawk (amazingly the only one seen during the day) and a small
flock of Cliff Swallows.

Altogether, the group pulled in at least 92 species for the day!!

county with access to a single sewage pond or a couple of bouts of
nocturnal birding - anybody up for an Edwards County big day!
