I've spent the past day in Dimmit and have found a few good spots. Best
waterfowl are at Asherton WTP on NW side of that town--seven spp incl Mexican
Mallard plus Least Grebe. Best shorebirds are in flooded field on FM 1433 at
29.594N -99.7946W. Have had 8 spp shorebirds incl Solitary Sandp., plus a pair
of Mottled Ducks! Abt 82 spp so far.
