Spent several hours this morning at Lake Ray Roberts/Isle d'Bois mostly birding
from the car due to a leg injury. Highlights:
Painted Buntings: at least a couple dozen; they were everywhere
Yellow Billed Cuckoo: 4
Mississippi Kite: 4-5
Yellow warbler: 10-12
Orchard oriole: 5-6
Scarlet Tanager: 3
Great Crested Flycatcher: 3
