In spite of the strong southerly winds I decided to bird the Corpus Christi area today for any migrants that might still be heading north. I birded Pollywog Pond, Blucher Park, Rosehill Cemetery, Packery Channel, Mustang Island, and Port Aransas. I was pretty surprised to tally 13 species of warblers (not bad for the late date & gusty southerly winds). Rosehill Cemetery was quite productive and birdy. I had several flocks of warblers there.
