Greetings All:
On 5 October 2016 I went for a bit of night driving in Hockley County with
Drew Harvey, herpetologist extraordinaire.
While our focus was on herps - which were thin on the ground - we did scare
up 1 Striped Skunk, my first for the year in the county, which I did
photograph and 1 Common Poorwill, my second for the year in the county,
which I did not photograph. Both were near Smyer Playa.
