Broad-winged hawks from the eastern us are currently being tracked by hawk
mountain at
www.hawkmountain.org/birdtracker

One is approaching texas and will go around the corner and head to Corpus
in a day or so with the other two following. They are inland for smith
point unless there is a good north wind.

The migratory connectivity project is monitoring 3 broadwings from northern
alberta. Two have reached central northern Minnesota and the third is still
at home. This is the source of our dark broadwings so tracking these birds
will give a hint of when dark birds may arrive

The 3 swallow-tailed kites tracked are all in south America now with two
going by corpus Christi but offshore as they cut across the coastal bend
into mexico.
