Bolivar beach itself quiet and nothing on it but if you go to north jetty on
17th Street, you can see all the shorebirds practically at your feet.
American Avocet
American Oystercatcher
Long billed Curlew
Marbled Godwit
Sanderling
Dunlin
Ruddy Turnstone
Western Sandpiper
Willet
Forester's Tern

Corps' Woods: Hermit Thrush, Orange crowned Warbler

Galveston Seawall drive--peregrine is back up on the Hilton Inn, as
it tends to do when there is a good stiff north wind. It was perched
on the letter "L."

LaFitte's Cove: Brown Thrasher, Inca Dove, Bufflehead, Redhead, Black
crowned Night Heron, shoveler, gadwall

San Luis Nature Trail: Yellow rumped warblers, piping plover
(with band on leg)

Surfside: over 50 Bonaparte's Gulls

Quintana: the usual suspects, skimmers, one large Herring Gull juvenile
that I tried to turn into a Greater Black backed, oh well
Reddish Egret, horned lark

Quintana Neotropical Sanctuary: American Redstart, ruby crowned
kinglets, orange crowned warbler
