Texbirders,

I arrived at the pond on CR227 at 2:00pm Saturday 23 June.  Warren Pruess and 
several others had the Black-tailed Godwit in their scopes.  

The bird was less than 100 meters from the road and was actively feeding at 
first then actively preening showing its tail and underwing.  I left the bird 
at 2:20pm.
