This Thursday, March 24th will be the first Bear Creek bird walk of spring. We
will meet at Bear Creek Community Center at 8:30 AM, and the walk will last
until about 10:00 AM. We are hoping to find early spring migrants as well as
lingering winter residents. The last walk had a pair of Wood Ducks searching
for a nest cavity, so spring is definitely in the air!
The next walk will be on Thursday, April 28th. It will be the last bird walk at
Bear Creek Park until the fall.
Hope you will join us. These walks are free and all ages are welcome. They are
led by Kendra Kocab who has excellent birding skills and the hearing to find
those spring warblers high in the trees.
