The monthly 4th Thursday Bird Walk at Bear Creek Pioneers Park will meet in a
different place this month because the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Trail
Drive will have the normal place congested with trailers, etc.
Please meet us at 8:30 AM on February 25th at the Harris County War Memorial
located on War Memorial Drive just off Eldridge Road. If you turn off Eldridge
onto War Memorial Drive, it will be immediately on your left. If you turn off
Clay Road, drive to the opposite end of the park, and it will be the last thing
on the right before the light at Eldridge. This will be our last chance this
season for Purple Finch, so everyone be thinking purple until then! The
Greater Pewee should still be there as well. The bird walk goes until about
10:00 AM. It is free and all ages and skill levels are welcome.
