Eight birders showed up to yesterday morning to help conduct the  October 
bird count for the Baytown Nature Center. as seen below we had 66  species 
with a total of 1325 birds. See the list below

Laughing Gull


I have lived here all my life in the neighborhood  right next to the Nature 
Center and have never seen so many Laughing Gulls  in and around this bay 
system. There was an active dredge with the  floating line running along the 
shore that gave the Gulls a nice place to  sit.
