[texbirds] Baptist Academy area near San Marcos, off Hwy 12

Was in the area this morning to meet up with others early. While nothing
of great interest to most, I was surprised at just how many bird species
were to be found here.... Couch's Kingbirds, Vermilion Flycatchers,
Verdins, Canyon Wrens, Orchard Orioles, Ground Doves. A pair of
Zone-tailed has been seen but I did not see it .We left earlier than
planned from the nearby Purgatory Creek area where it is "hogs gone wild".
Look forward to spending more time there. I am not sure what if any access
issues there are for the Academy as we did not go in, but a lot of folks
coming and going and from the outside it looks birdy
