I spotted an adult Bald Eagle south of the ponds located behind the Stella
Roberts Recycle Center on Magnolia Lane in a yard on Becky Lane in large
sycamore tree around 1:30pm today. This is my first siting of an eagle in
the area this year for me. I am not sure if this is the same bird from past
years but it was in the same tree a bird has used before. The eagle left
its perch and headed south with a stick in its bill.
I tried to follow but unable to spot the bird again or any sign of a nest
in the area. I will keep looking. Hope they are nesting in area as the nest
fell last year in this area.
