Texbirders,
I agree that Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers are around in good numbers this
winter, seem to everywhere I look, one flycatching from the top of a dead
tree out my window this afternoon at work was particularly amusing to
watch. Must have been a lot of bugs around because it was joined by an
Eastern Phoebe and a Yellow-rumped Warbler. All this after having a
Peregrine Falcon fly by just a few minutes earlier. Really made my day but
not conducive to getting much work done!
