The Austin Christmas Bird Count is December 17, 2016. Co-compilers are
Shelia Hargis and Cheryl McGrath. The circle is centered at McKinney Falls
State Park and includes a variety of habitats. In addition to birders out
in the field covering all areas of the circle, we would like to have some
feeder watchers. So if you live within the circle and have bird feeders,
please participate, especially if you have wintering hummingbirds. You can
sign up to participate by emailing us at austincbc@xxxxxxxxx. Also visit
the Austin CBC website <http://www.austincbc.com/>. The website has maps, a
photo gallery and other important resources. (It will be updated soon with
2016 information.)
