Send interesting sightings, complete with species name, location, and contact information to Nate McGowan at natemcgowanbirds@xxxxxxxxx. -Rarities found this week- ***A DUSKY-CAPPED FLYCATCHER was found at Pedernales Falls Sate Park, *Blanco*, on 10/25, and was most recently seen 10/30. The bird is frequenting the bird blind. This is an outstanding record in the state outside of the Davis and Chisos mountains and the Lower Rio Grande Valley.*** A YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT was late at Pedernales State Park, *Blanco*, most recently 10/28. A WARBLING VIREO was late at Webberville Park, *Travis*, 10/29. A PRAIRIE FALCON was reported from the Lexington area, *Lee*, 10/26. A HUTTON'S VIREO was reported from Warbler Woods, *Guadalupe*, 10/27. A NORTHERN PARULA was a good find this late at Stillhouse Hollow Reservoir, *Bell*, 10/25. A flyover UPLAND SANDPIPER was late from Windy Point on Lake Travis, *Travis*, 10/26. -Continuing birds from previous weeks- The BROWN BOOBY continues at Windy Point on Lake Travis, *Travis*, most recently 10/30. If you haven't seen this bird yet, you should probably make that happen. A COMMON LOON continued at Soil Conservation Service Site 2 Reservoir, *Williamson*, 10/29. The GREAT KISKADEE was still present at Berry Springs Park, *Williamson*, 10/28. Reports for the Austin area RBA cover a 60 mile radius, centered on the Capitol in downtown Austin.
