-Rarities found this week-
A *ZONE-TAILED HAWK* was well described from 2673 and 2722, *Comal*, 2/17.
A *HUTTON'S VIREO* was well described from the Baker Sanctuary in NW Austin*,
Travis*, 2/13.
There are several *PYRRHULOXIAS* still hanging around the circle. Birds
were seen at Old Stage Trail and Thrall, *Williamson*, 2/13, Earhardt Rd.,
*Bastrop*, 2/13, Cedar Creek, *Bastrop, *2/17, Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower
Center, *Travis*, 2/13, Hornsby Bend, *Travis*, 2/13, Shoal Creek, *Travis*,
2/13.
-Continuing birds from previous weeks-
A *HAMMOND'S FLYCATCHER* was a great find at the San Gabriel Wildlife
Management Area, *Williamson*, and continues through at least 2/16. The
bird has been well photographed.
A *BLACK PHOEBE* continues at Barkley Meadows, *Travis*, 2/15.
A *GREAT KISKADEE* continued at Berry Springs Park in Georgetown
* Williamson*, 2/17.
An adult male *ALLEN'S HUMMINGBIRD* continued at a private residence in
west Austin, *Travis*, 2/6. The bird has been well photographed.
A *BUFF-BELLIED HUMMINGBIRD* was photographed at a private residence,
*Bastrop,* 2/12.
A male *BROAD-TAILED HUMMINGBIRD *continued at a private residence in SW
Austin, *Travis,* through 2/16. The bird was well photographed but has not
been seen for 2 days.
A *BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER* was refound at John Stokes River Park, San
Marcos, *Hays,* 2/12.
*RUSTY BLACKBIRDS* (3) continued at Earhardt Rd., *Bastrop*, 2/13.
