-Exceptional birds in the RBA circle-
A juvenile BROWN BOOBY continued at Windy Point on Lake Travis*, Travis.* The
bird has been perched on a buoy between Bob Wentz County Park and Mansfield
Dam; it was most recently reported 12/26.
-Rarities found this week-
A TENNESSEE WARBLER was photographed at Hornsby Bend, *Travis*, 1/2.
A WHITE-TAILED HAWK was photographed off of CR 428 and CR 361, *Williamson*,
12/31.
Two PURPLE FINCHES were photographed near CR 349 and Willis Creek,
*Williamson*, 1/2.
A juvenile SWAINSON'S HAWK was photographed on Aubrey Messer Rd., *Bell*,
1/2.
A WESTERN GREBE was seen from Friendship Park at Granger Lake*, Williamson*,
1/2.
Six CACKLING GEESE were photographed off CR 347 near Granger Lake,
*Williamson*, 1/1.
Two FRANKLIN'S GULLS were seen off of FM 973, *Travis*, 1/1.
A BROAD-TAILED HUMMINGBIRD was photographed at a private residence in
southwest Austin*, Travis*, 12/31.
EASTERN TOWHEES were well described at McKinney Falls State Park, *Travis*,
1/6 and Reimer's Ranch, *Travis*, 1/6.
Three HORNED GREBES were reported from Soil Conservation Site 2 Reservoir
in Leander, *Williamson,* 1/4.
A ROSS'S GOOSE was photographed at Lake Pflugerville*, Travis*, 1/1.
A LONG-BILLED CURLEW was seen in NE *Travis*, 1/2.
HUTTON'S VIREOS were reported from the Florence/Andice area near CRs
202/207 in *Williamson*, 1/5, and from Dick Nichols Park in Austin, *Travis*,
1/3.
An AMERICAN BITTERN was photographed at the Pearce Lane ponds in Austin,
*Travis*, 1/3.
A GRAY CATBIRD was photographed off of CR 340 near Granger Lake*,
Williamson*, 1/2.
A LEAST GREBE was well described from Lake Georgetown, *Williamson*, 1/3.
There are many PYRRHULOXIAS in the circle. Individual birds were seen in
the Florence/Andice area near CRs 302/307, *Williamson*, 1/5, CR 347 near
Granger Lake*, Williamson*, 1/4, Hornsby Bend, *Travis*, 1/2, Blockhouse
Creek area*, Williamson*, 1/2, Taylor Park*, Williamson*, 1/2, Leander Cap
Metro Rail Station*, Williamson*, 1/3, CR 347 at 95*, Williamson*, 1/2, CR
349 at Willis Creek, *Williamson*, 1/2.

An EASTERN TOWHEE continued at a private ranch near Bee Caves, *Travis*,
1/7.
A GREAT KISKADEE continued at Berry Springs Park in Georgetown* Wlliamson*,
1/6.
An ALLEN'S HUMMINGBIRD continued at a private residence in west Austin,
*Travis*, 1/5.
RUSTY BLACKBIRDS continued at Hornsby Bend, *Travis*, 1/2 and Earhardt Rd.,
*Bastrop*, 1/4.
A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER continued near Alum Creek at Bastrop State Park,
*Bastrop*, 1/1.
