I was surprised to find a Myiarchus flycatcher on private property in the
Pilot Knob area of Travis County (south of Austin Bergstrom Airport) this
morning 1/16. From the good looks and the call I was able to ID as
Ash-throated.
It seems insanely early for me for an early Spring migrant. What is the
likelihood of this bird hanging around all winter in Travis Co?
