Dry and sunny this morning at Anahuac, but still a bit of the cool north wind. Less migrants about than yesterday on the Skillern Tract at Anahuac. Difficult to know which were new and which were leftovers from Monday. On the trail south to the East Unit overlook, and north up the grass trail along East Bay Bayou for a third of a mile, the following birds were the highlights. Warblers: 3 Northern Parula, 2 Hooded, 2 Prothonotary, 1 Blue-winged, 4+ Black-and-white, 5+ Yellow-rumped, 3 Orange-crowned, 1 Yellow-throated, 1 Worm-eating, and 2 Common Yellowthroat. Also noted amongst other species: 2 Yellow-throated Vireo, 3 White-eyed Vireo,1 Ruby-throated Hummingbird, 2 Red-bellied Woodpecker, 2 Eastern Kingbird, 2 Carolina Chickadee, 4 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, 3 Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Green Heron along the bayou was my FOS, 1 Anhinga. A male Cinnamon Teal was close to the path to the East Unit overlook.
