The Birding Classic website (www.tpwd.state.tx.us/gtbc) is now updated with basic rules for the 16th Annual Birding Classic held this spring 2012 as well as modified rules for each of the specialized tournaments (Roughwings, Gliders, Human-Powered, etc.), Word and PDF versions of the official checklist, the official team registration form, and a listing of teams who have already registered for this year's event. As many of you have read or heard, the event is more informal this year. As such, the dates are flexible, there are no team registration fees, and the registration form is simplified to capture only the information needed to post your teams on the Birding Classic website and in Facebook posts about team results, posting team photos, etc. If you have additional questions after reading through the rules, please feel free to call (512-389-4500) or email me (shelly.plante@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) and I will respond as soon as possible. I hope you all are enjoying a great spring and are getting outside to see what's migrating through your area!
