Good morning Texbirders,
We had a nice walk on Saturday, October 15th. A couple of our South Texas
species are still hanging around: Least Grebe in pond 3S and the Great Kiskadee
is all over the park. The majority of night-herons have moved on for the
season and Bald Eagles are beginning to be seen more regularly.
The first fall Sheldon Lake Birding League just finished up yesterday, so we
will begin to tally the sightings and see who are our winners! Follow us on
