If you are someone with a technology that you are
interested in turning into a business or you are
interested in starting a business and looking for a
novel technology to take forward, please join us at
one of the General Information sessions to learn more
about the recently announced ?Cincinnati Creates
Companies Program.? 

?Cincinnati creates Companies? offers to new
entrepreneurs an educational program coupled with
hands-on guidance in the development of an investment
worthy business plan, connection to expert and
financial resources and access to a very robust
network. Specifically, the program provides a
comprehensive training program that addresses key
knowledge, skills and insights needed to be successful
in the entrepreneurial arena. The educational program
also connects each program participant with a pipeline
of critical resources to take entrepreneurs from the
idea stage to successful company formation. The
program is highly experiential, and as participants
move through the training stages, they will be
applying the information learned to their own business
plans. Participants who successfully complete the
program will be eligible to submit their final
business plans in a competition for funding in the
range of $25,000-$50,000. 

The program is being offered by the University of
Cincinnati, in conjunction with its partners
BIO/START, Emerging Concepts, Hamilton County Business
Center, CincyTech USA and Children?s Hospital Medical
Center. The program is the result of a grant from the
National Science Foundation?s Partnerships for
Innovation Program. 

There has been considerable excitement and interest in
?Cincinnati Creates Companies.? Please join us to
learn more about how you can become of part of it.
