I charge a flat rate on VCR's, $49.00, includes parts.
I try to evaluate the symptoms first and if it sounds like something I may be
able ion less than an hour,
I take it in.

OK the 200 volt 100 mfd cap fixed this vcr it also had a bad 1.6 amp fuse I
replaced both and cleaned the head. Now it works fine, problem is I usually
charge $45.00 flat fee for repair the customer didn't seem to want to fix it
after I told them cost. My question is am I charging to much or do I need to
stop repairing vcr's? I Just wanted some input from a few other repair
shops.
