I saw one reference to that chip IX1224ce that said to use TA8403K. The data
sheet at B&D is in japaneese but this looks like the Tall vertical chip
sharp has used m in there mid 90's sets. on that basis the last one that I
had needed the vertical ic replaced, it still had voltage also there is a
cap (a 100uf I think) that fails or can fail near the IC and cause it to
fail I will try to send the data sheets I found to you (sorry I havent found
any in english). one is a PDF the other is a GIF file. Check the yoke and
see if the vertical ramp is being generated
