[TechAssist] reinstalling labtec webcam{ Keep getting error message}

hi techs,
I have this labtec webcam on my computer . it worked fine for a while.
It stop working once and I reinstalled the software and the cam worked ok.
but now no matter what I do I cant get this cam to work anymore.
what I am getting is an error message when the drivers are to be installed.
the error message is THE INSTALLATION FAILED BECAUSE A FUNCTION DRIVER
WAS NOT SPECIFIED FOR THIS DEVICE.
I am running win2000.
any ideas anyone?
