[TechAssist] pioneer disc player model # pd-m450

this is a pioneer multi play disc player model # pd-m450. i don't get
involved with these but a freind asked me just to take a look. i cleaned
lens and unit still doesn't read disc.seems like it tries to focus, at least
it turns the disc. but nothing.any ideas.
