open message to all techs:

the very first AC outlet each of our benches
sees is a Ground Fault Protector -
that way all the rest of the bench outlets
are 'protected' from excessive current
in the ground ckts ... GPF outlets are
inexpensive and available in most
hardware/electrical supply places ... we
have had one or two that developed
relay problems (sound familiar?) and had to
be replaced - otherwise they have
saved customer eqpt (and Techs) from serious
damage when grounds get
applied where they shouldn't be ... they
aint perfect but they do work ....
                                        MikE
