Has been running today OK so far. I need a manual to adjust the horiz. width, size, converg, etc. Thx, Phil I replaced the below mentioned 2 shorted parts on the power supply "G" board (Q614 and D605), resoldered the board as well. Powered up the set. Picture looked good, but a slight distortion, or narrowing on left side about an inch, then after about 15 seconds, the convergence "flickered" way out several times, so I quickly unplugged the set, saving my parts. On the "D" convergence board in front, I replaced both convergence IC's, both STK4278L (8-749-923-16).(the two converg. fuses were good) resoldered all other IC's as well. A tech said replace a known failure cap c1742 on D board(470mfd) between IC905 and IC906 3 terminal regs. Now, unit powered up and display stayed good until I turned it off 30 min later to close shop. The STK convergence IC's were likely failing and took out the diode/reg on the G board.
