Charles, I have uploaded a picture of an RCA tuner for you to look at. I hope it's the correct one. It may be from a CTC187, not sure. Anyway, I took this picture before I did a soldering job, in case the tuner wouldn't work afterward. Hope it is some help. http://www.number63.ca/rcatuner.jpg Gary McCartney McCartney Electronics 7134 Fife Rd, RR 7 Guelph Ontario Canada N1H 6J4 Fax: (519)821-1530 email: number63@xxxxxxxxxxxxx repair1 wrote: > > This is the first time in five years I have had a problem after a tuner > ground repair, but after doing this one, I have nothing but snow on2-6, > upper vhf and mid cable channels are very snowy, some upper and uhf are a > little better, tuner is band switching and most dc voltages appear to be > normal, changed ic7301, and eeprom, no change, I have spent three hours > meticulously checking for damged traces and solder bridges to no avail, I am > getting nowhere fast on this, any help would be greatly appreciated > charles betzler > Best Electronics > repair1@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > > ------------------------------------------ > Help make your TechAssist database better! > Submit your fixes here: http://circuitwork.com/techassist/tip/#tips > ------------------------------------------ > To UNSUBSCRIBE your email address, click here: > mailto:techassist-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe > Or send a BLANK email with unsubscribe in the > SUBJECT field to the address above. -- ------------------------------------------ Help make your TechAssist database better!
