One way to tell is to click on the paper clip and look at the name of the
file. If it has two extensions, example, xxxxxxx.xxx.xxx then it is a virus
for sure.

i received a email from samsung with an attachment, but i am
afraid to open it.
i never open attachments.
the mail only says please look at this.
i returned a reply but it bounced back.
how can i know this is really from samsung???
my virus scan had no warnings on this.
