[TechAssist] computer problem solved

Thanks to jeff dougherty, bill green, and others who replied to my request
for help.
last week I had to change modem because of hardware issues with old modem,
the other problem I had was the machine would start running slowly,
sometimes lock up. I defragged, did system updates, and eliminated
everything I could, I noticed that task manager(windows xp) has a real time
graphic representation of cpu usage,which showed spikes of 100% down to 10%
back to 100, just like a series of spikes, this was apparently the 9 piecies
of spyware that spybot found, I also updated mcafee and it found a worm that
just gotten in, system is now working fine, have a good night.
