Customer was watching the set, heard a snap and the picture became washed out with retrace. The usual victom: Q5104 on the CRT board shorted. Question: This snap was probably the CRT arcing that usually takes the transistor out, so after replacing, should I use a 1:1 CRT filament isolation brightner transformer to prevent further Q5104 damage? Assuming the picture is good? Phil Bader -- Philip Bader Jan Phyl TV Inc. (estab. 1976) 3420 Recker Hwy.
